Mirrors[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Universidad de Morón. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. thanks for the alert, how do I differentiate mirrored citations? Hun Vuin (talk) 14:46, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In my recent edits, are all the citations mirrored or just a few? thanks. Hun Vuin (talk) 14:47, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This note was specific to the 'wikiwand' site, which fiarly clearly notes "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The 'military-history.fandom.com' also notes "This page uses Creative Commons Licensed content from Wikipedia (view authors)." Those two site are pretty clear, many mirrors are less helpful. In general, if you find the exact verbiage used on Wikipedia elsewhere, it's either a mirror, or a Wikipedia contributor plagiarized content and we need to look in to that.
I can see other sources that are problematic: 'wikivoyage.org' is user-generated material and will not be considered a reliable source.Sam Kuru (talk) 15:01, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Sam Kuru. Hun Vuin (talk) 15:12, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Again, please be more careful. Your edit here introduced 'alchetron' as a source; the site clearly notes "Wikipedia (Text) CC BY-SA" at the bottom and is an exact copy of the article you're editing. Sam Kuru (talk) 11:39, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ok, i will. Thank you. Hun Vuin (talk) 17:06, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, with this edit, it's clear you're either deliberately ignoring me, or simply not capable of understanding the problem. Just to be clear, if you continue to deliberately add fake or clearly inappropriate sources, this account will be disabled until you can convince us that you understand. 18:23, 5 August 2023 (UTC)

Grammar[edit]

...Dux befriends American fighter Ray Jackson... is correct. ...Dux befriends an American fighter Ray Jackson... is problematic. ...Dux befriends an American fighter, Ray Jackson... is acceptable too. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 19:27, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ok, thanks Hun Vuin (talk) 19:29, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Barbara Imiolczyk moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Barbara Imiolczyk, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
