April 2012

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Austin Maxi, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 01:54, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Austin Maxi. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 01:54, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Austin Maxi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Lifebuoy

[edit]

Hi, I couldn't help noticing that your edits show a very strong interest in the Austin Maxi, but in a departure from that specialist subject you added a Victoria Wood joke to the page Lifebuoy (soap). ([1]) Do you have a source for that, please, along with anything to indicate that it is notable? The words "a tub of Lifebuoy" don't even sound right. – Fayenatic London 20:35, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission Pantalan Luma

[edit]

Hello Ianmax69. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Pantalan Luma.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pantalan Luma}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 13:02, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2016 deaths

[edit]

There's guidelines put in motion to prevent a whole horde of names being added, thus defeating its own purpose as it'll pretty much just be Deaths in 2016. WP:RY pretty much stipulates that an entry must have 9 or more non English wiki's for inclusion. This can be determined by looking at the left side of the article and reading how many non-English wiki's there are. Rusted AutoParts 19:22, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Ianmax69. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
