Your speedy deletion tag on O. I. Ogedegbe

[edit]

Please do not tag pages with no content for speedy deletion moments after creation. New users commonly add the content in subsequent edits. Furthermore, none of the criteria you gave match the page. It is not nonsense or an "unimportant person", since the page simply has no content. He may be notable, or perhaps not. We can only tell if the user adds something to the page to indicate why he may or may not be important. Thanks! Reaper Eternal (talk) 19:10, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Malplaced disambiguation page

[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that you moved Sariola to include a "(disambiguation)" suffix in the article title. Please note that per WP:DABNAME, if there is no primary topic, the disambiguation page should be located at the base title. I have reverted the move. nyuszika7h (talk) 11:09, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh boy!

[edit]

As a person who has experienced first hand exactly what is happening on the thread you started, I can inform you right now that it is going to be a war of walltexts. That seems to be a recurring theme with the two editors. You can refer to their old AN/I thread here No matter how briefly you respond, and I am terrible at brevity, you can expect only that a wall will be placed on the page. I'm also going to give you a heads up that this thread will also likely be closed without action for the simple fact of no diffs, that's precisely what happened to the last one. Content dispute and no good diffs. I unintentionally involved myself in the dispute as I noticed glaring factual errors; tell me, if you know, approximately what year did Yugoslavia cease to exist? 1992? yeah no apparently it was 1941, this is despite both my parents, who were born in the 60s, being from Yugoslavia. I also noted that this has been ongoing for a very long time at least 2011. Personally, this has gone on for far too long, I'll be taking a look around and seeing whether this is merely an issue between these two editors, or, if there's more to it than that. Puffery how?

[edit]

you rv my edit [1] describing it as puffery yet my change was to tone down the overblown allegation in this article.

from

"Various media outlets have also concluded that the death toll could be as high as.. "

to

"Media outlets have extrapolated from this study a death toll of ..."

the latter is far more accurate. How can a media 'conclude' something like this - which assumes it has the weight of truth.

no conclusion on the topic has been reached. please correct me if i'm wrong.

I suggest reverting to the more staid version Happy monsoon day 03:55, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

More help with Honeywell

[edit]

Hey Dschlava, hope you've been well. I've got a favor to ask: would you be willing to help me update Honeywell again? I posted over on the talk page a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten any responses. I'm trying to update a few things all over the article to make sure the article is up to date in reflecting the recent split of one of their business units. My proposed changes would be to the overview and the business units and recent acquisitions sections, which I've linked to here. If you've got a minute, would you STANK ASS mind taking a look? Thanks! YOU ARE THE GREATEST OOFAAAHHH EVER --FacultiesIntact (talk) 23:26, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
