Hi Issac, and welcome to Wikipedia: Please see VOTE at the following TWO Articles for Deletion. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Criticism of the Bible and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inconsistencies in the Bible. Thanks. IZAK 07:16, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bobov

[edit]

Reb Isaac, I disagree with some of what you have written about bobov. I am not a bobover (48, 45, or any other "kupke".) you seem to be pro 45th street. while there is nothing wrong with that, and both sides definately have their opinions...

According to what you have reverted in an edit, you put Rebbe Mordche Duvid on top of reb Benzion, and deleted the tags that were in place.

Since reb benzion is a generation higher then r' md, he therefore is one "bullet" less then r' md on strictly a generational thing. and being a son of reb shloime makes him properly put before reb m.d.

so you reverted.... why? there are also some other things there that I did not feel were well put, but that was my main beef at that time. so instead of reverting back and forth, the NPOV just lets people know that "its nisht azoy pashut ve s'zet ois" ... ("its not as simple as it seems")...

anyway, now that satmar if having the fight, now the genteelness of the bobers comes out.. because hey in bobov there was nothing this bad!!!

Happy Sfira Tzaylin!

Reb Gevaldik, If you would have first looked at the talk pages of Bobov; you wouldn't have to assume anything, and you would know why. There I spell out clearly the reason for my edits. I don't have time now but in a nutshell the order of things needs to have a balance to qualify as a NPOV, so sometimes RBZH needs to be mentioned first and sometimes RMDU. As far as a successorship chart verses a genealogical chart; I clearly talk about it on the talk pages; I don't hide anything. Issac 00:42, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You might not see what I mean, because since then, the page on Ger has been altered (no pun intended). But if you go back quite a few edits you'll find a similiar successorship chart like Bobov. Issac 18:50, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the information. Will keep it in mind. Feel free to edit the comment regarding the Bet Din to something you feel is more authoritative. ShalomShlomo 22:19, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Input needed about Hasidic dispute

[edit]

Hi Issac: Please take a look at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2007-04-29 Mezhbizh (Hasidic dynasty). If you are able to help in any way with the issues it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, IZAK 20:57, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good job NPOVing the article. Do you know if Rabbi Moshe Meir Einhorn was by both achtures? --Smokizzy (talk) 15:57, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your kind comment. The answer is yes; he was present when Rabbi Mordechai Dovid Unger and Rabbi Yehoshua Rubin were named as the successors to their father-in-law Rabbi Naftali Zvi Halberstam and he latter gave a kvittel to Rabbi Unger. Issac 17:11, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Image:Rabbi UngerAndRabbiRubin.jpg has contradictory license tags. If it is GFDL, that is the only tag needed. It also needs to have the name of the author and/or source of the photo listed on the image page. Thanks. — Carl (CBM · talk) 13:39, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:BoboverRebbeGivingShiurCholHamoadPesach5768.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:06, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:BoboverRebbeGivingShiur.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:08, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
