Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Sunday Funday. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Bongwarrior (talk) 06:17, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Sunday Funday. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. --Bongwarrior (talk) 06:29, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have used Wikipedia in the past to look up definitions and it has been extremely useful. I have never used it to edit a page before until now. The reason I got blocked is because I was trying to define an alternative form of Sunday Funday besides a Nintendo game. Sunday Funday is a common event that thousands of people participate in on a weekly basis. I think it is witholding this information to the public if you don't let both definitions co-exist. If I put literature in the definition which could be displayed as advertising, I will be more than happy to remove this from the publication. Please let me know what steps need to be taken to be reinstated. Thank you.

Decline reason:

You were blocked because of your inappropriate user of multiple accounts; please, if there is good reason to unblock you, make the request via your original account. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:07, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{tl:unblock|Please help me understand what multiple accounts have been used. The only account I know of is JWPurvis13. If there is another username being used by my IP address, please delete it immediately. I am the only user responsible for this laptop}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

I apologize. I was following a group of vandals this morning and somehow you got caught in it. I'm not sure what happened but on a recheck you are in no way associated with those users. I'm very sorry. Thatcher 17:24, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation

[edit]

OK, what happened is that you were listed here as a potential vandal account along with several others. I don't know why Hu12 (talk · contribs) listed you; I suspect your actions have in some way been suspicious or troublesome. I thought I verified all the accounts in the list before blocking but I missed yours, I guess. If you want to know why Hu12 listed you as a possible vandal you could ask him, or put {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will come by; you can ask them what you did to set off suspicions and how to avoid such things in the future. I'm glad I double-checked it with you, then, and wish I had done so before declining the unblock rather than after. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:57, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

But you still should read this article and then stop edit-warring. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
