Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. SwisterTwister talk 17:07, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
promotional content
[edit]Hi, I noticed your question about promotional content at the teahouse and I believe there's a mis-understanding here. In the draft article it is mentioned four times that your citations don't show notability. The word "promotional" does not appear there, that only mysteriously shows up on this talk page?? Which doesn't count against your draft. I like it, well done and good luck with it! Dougmcdonell (talk) 07:56, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Doug... still waiting for a response from the Wikipedia editors.
- Looking back in, I see it may help if I can explain. So the current article qualifies for any removal or objection to said article by our WP:Deletion policy since it's highly resembling of a sales pitch, not to your standards. SwisterTwister talk 15:09, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
Hi SwisterTwister talk: Thanks for the clarification. However might I ask you to printout those sections/paragraphs/passages or even specific word use that gives the impression of it being a sales pitch or not as neutral as it might otherwise be? The issue of tone & style were not at any time brought into question before your comment, so the sudden appearance of this as a comment left me puzzled. I've read the WP:Deletion policy through carefully the Wikipedia Spam[1] page and am not sure which words give it the appearance of being biased. Any insight as to specific content in my article that creates this impression would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
- Looking in, I now saw your comment. Here with articles, we're highly skeptical of including anything when it involves business offers and details like that about the business as it would suggest an business profile or listing, and so the best place for this would be the company website or their social medias, etc. SwisterTwister talk 13:36, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
