You aren't paying attention to what I'm saying. I don't care what the numbers are. What I care about is your behavior, which is unacceptable here. If you want to have a source listed as "non-reliable", the place to start a discussion is WP:RSN. Under no circumstance do you game the system, then edit war and go on a mission to remove a source that is accepted as reliable on your own accord. Even if you are 100% right, or at least think you are. The Wiki is full of people who are absolutely convinced they are "right", and if they do what you did, they get blocked. So, your continuing this argument after I've explained that your argument means nothing in regards to getting unblocked, just convinces me that blocking you was the right solution. This will be my last comment right now. Either read the link provided in the block template, or don't. Your choice. Dennis Brown - 14:12, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cool I understood, I wont do such a mistake, will follow the rules Jaggu5239 (talk) 14:14, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Dennis Brown, I understood my mistake and wont do such a thing, will follow WIKI rules and I promise you I wont do this again. Requesting you to unblock me. Jaggu5239 (talk) 14:51, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Read the instructions above and submit a proper unblock request. Your unwillingness, or inability to listen isn’t promising. 173.22.12.194 (talk) 15:04, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
(ec) Uninvolved editor padding by. I suggest to you, Jaggu5239, that you read the block notice above, and precisely follow its instructions to make an unblock request. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 15:14, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I apologize for the mistake that I have done, and I promise you I wont repeat this again. This is a learning lesson for me and wish to lean from this mistake. Hereon I will follow the WIKI rules and act accordingly. Kindly requesting to unblock my account. Thanks

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 15:40, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi Yamla, can I get some clarity on what exactily I need to do, I have read the guide but need some clarity for my situation.

You need to tell us 1) What it is that you did wrong and why it was wrong, and how you have learned from it. Unless you can prove you understand it, you will not be unblocked. 2) You need to convince the community that you will not be repeating the mistakes. Tell us how you will go about ensuring you won't repeat them and 3) how you will edit to be a valuable contributor to the project. Canterbury Tail talk 18:26, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would first want to acknowledge for the mistakes that I have done, the first mistake being gaming the edit count to be a extended confirmed user to edit a particular page. The second mistake being engaging in a war to edit that wiki page. Thich is absolutely wrong and is against the Wikipedia guidelines. I understood the mistake that I have done and I would like to learn, improve and follow the Wiki rules to edit any content hereon.

For example, in my case I would use talk pages and noticeboards to get opinions from various Wiki editors to discuss any disagreements before making edits and then get to a conclusion for the same. This would be the right and legal way to make edits in this situation.

And moving forward, I promise I won't repeat this mistake and be a valuable contributor in this Wikipedia community.

Decline reason:

You haven't specifically agreed to a topic ban, nor do you say what specific contributions you will make instead. 331dot (talk) 19:56, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm not reviewing it, and I'm not convinced anyway, but the only way I would even consider unblocking in the future (if ever) is if it had strings attached, ie: a topic ban on cinema articles, broadly construed (including talk pages), for 6 months to a year. Dennis Brown - 06:57, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Dennis Brown, I promise that I wont be reviewing any cinema articles (even talk pages) for the given time frame, and apologize once again for the mistakes that I committed. I wont repeat it ever again and will strictly follow the Wiki guidelines. Jaggu5239 (talk) 07:25, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi User:Dennis Brown, its been couple of days but my request is still under review. Can you please accept my apology and give me a chance so that I can prove myself. I promise I will strictly follow the Wikipedia guidelines and be a valuable contributor in this community. Jaggu5239 (talk) 19:31, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No. I have already reviewed one of your requests. --Yamla (talk) 18:03, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Acroterion Hi, can you please review my unblock request Jaggu5239 (talk) 16:20, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Canterbury Tail, as you said I have followed the steps that you told and raised an unblock request again. Can you please review it. Jaggu5239 (talk) 04:24, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • It is undesirable for you to ping admin after admin to get your block reviewed, and after one or two, may be seen as disruptive. Admins are volunteers, not employees ready to jump to the counter as soon as you ring the desk bell. There is Category:Requests for unblock which admin can and do patrol. More likely, some admin have reviewed this page and have simply decided to not review your block. You can't compel admin to review, and trying to do so will more likely result in your appeal getting procedurally declined. Dennis Brown - 06:27, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
