[edit]Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Nick Lachey, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Meters (talk) 05:47, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- And please read WP:POV too. Meters (talk) 05:48, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- The changes I made concerning Nick Lachey are from growing up in Cincinnati. Growing up in Cincinnati where I knew his last is actually pronounced Lachey sounding more like Latchkey. Lachee. I know his brother Andrew from the restaurant they owned in the city of Over the Rhine. I know why his marijuana investment wasn’t able to pass legalization in Ohio. These are difficult things cite. To have a citation be listed as I was on a board with him at the SCPA (school) or that I grew up in the same neighborhood in my opinion doesn’t sound like a legit citation. So I chose not make such citations.
- I have not made Wikipedia scholar status like yourself. I’m still familiarizing myself. Thank you for your work. JaidedW (talk) 05:19, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Jennifer Tilly, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Knitsey (talk) 04:52, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- In that same set of edits, the edit summary said "fixed typos." The edits had nothing to do with typographical errors. Please use accurate edit summaries. Joyous! Noise! 04:55, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jennifer Tilly. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Changing the content of a direct quote is not OK. Joyous! Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Perez Hilton, you may be blocked from editing. Justanotherinternetguy ε=ε=ε=ε=┌(; ̄▽ ̄)┘ --> talk 11:34, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. GraziePrego (talk) 06:27, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
- You are edit warring at Nick Lachey. GraziePrego (talk) 06:29, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
