Well, I'm 220 of Borg and I've been editing Wikipedia (WP for short) for about 5 1/2 years. The links in the welcome above will help you a lot. My personal advice is to not be too quick to start a brand new page, or article. Learn about editing and what is needed for a new WP page to be kept, especially notability and referencing first. There is a lot of 'maintenance' work needed too, like welcoming new editors like you!

I'll try to help you if I can. You can get my attention by either putting a message on my talkpage, or put {{reply to|220 of Borg}} here on yours with a message for me.
