Welcome, an invitation, and information about Commons

[edit]

Hi Jayinjapan,

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for helping with Japan-related articles on Wikipedia. Here's an invitation to visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Japan. There, you can meet other Wikipedians working on articles related to Japan. You'll find lists of new articles, projects, and links to resources such as

I'd also like to introduce Wikimedia Commons. If you upload photographs to Commons, users on all Wikipedias in all languages (and other Wikimedia projects too) can use the photos. That's better than putting them on the English Wikipedia. The process is just like Wikipedia: as soon as you set up a user name (most people use the same name) and log in, you'll get an "Upload file" link. It's quite a thrill to see your photos incorporated into articles in Chinese, Arabic, or Dutch. Since you've been contributing your photos to the public domain, you'll find Commons similar.

Hope to see you at WikiProject Japan and on Commons!

Hōzen-ji

[edit]

Hi Jayinjapan,

Thank you for contributing to the article Hōzen-ji.

Do you know what city it's in? That would be valuable information.

Best regards,

Asks for your opinion for Maidashi ryokuchi.

[edit]

How do you do? My name is Hot cake syrup, I read your article Maizuru Castle Park with considerable interest, thank you.
Maidashi ryokuchi is proposed deletion, but I think it is to leave over. The reason is that the park is not famous, but it has substantial implication for the Fukuoka's modern history. And in Wikipedia there are too few articles for Japanese garden. If your concurrence on my opinion, please note your comment on Talk:Maidashi ryokuchi. Bye for now. --Hot cake syrup (talk) 10:46, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
