Your submission at Articles for creation

[edit]
Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit once you feel they have been resolved.
Hi Jenny. Hope you don't mind me sticking my nose in, but I saw your request for help at Ktr101's talk page. You might find it helpful to have a look at Wikipedia:Verifiability#Accessibility. It is quite acceptable to use sources in Swedish (they will almost certainly be better than sources in blogs) and, if necessary, it is possible to obtain help from a translator as shown at Wikipedia:Translators available#Translators Available. Best of luck. Skinsmoke (talk) 15:34, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not go. I am sure you have much to give. Keep in mind that we have more than 4 million articles on en-wiki alone. And an article which is submitted via articles for creation is much more "in the focus", so to speak, as an article somewhere here that no one cares about. If you feel frustrated, step back a bit, and do some "light" editing, perhaps even bettering some of the neglected articles. In that way, you will get wiki-savvy, can avoid too much stress, and in the end may come back to work on the articles which are near too your heart. Cheers.

And now you cann see: your enthusiasm has payed off. Cheers and happy editing. Lectonar (talk) 21:05, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes you need "persistence" as well as "enthusiasm". Congratulations, you've clearly got both ;-) Skinsmoke (talk) 18:58, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Edda Magnason, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Niva and Pop (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Have now fixed both Niva and Pop. Thanks for advising me about these mistakes. You're welcome to tell me about any other corrections that may be needed. /Jenny

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Edda Magnason may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Source for birth name/date at Edda Magnason

[edit]

May I ask why you removed the source for her birth name and birth date? Nymf (talk) 13:58, 24 October 2014 (UTC) I removed a page with her present address in Stockholm. There was nothing about the source for her birth name. Even famous people have the right to privacy.[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
