PROMO, ATTRIBUTEPOV, GUIDEBOOK, PEACOCK

[edit]

Hi Joy anjilvila. I have reverted your recent edit(s) to Palaruvi Falls. On the basis that the terms and tone used ("famous and spectacular", "magnificent natural beauty", "famous scenic beauty", "ideal tourist attraction") are not in keeping with several of the core guidelines of the project. As well as reviewing the project norms on neutral tone and using references, please consider reading the guidelines on avoiding promotional tone in edits, on attributing any subjective opinions to the holders of those opinions, not using words with inherent bias, and generally not mistaking the scope of this project with that of (for example) WikiVoyage. Or a travel guide. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 08:54, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Your promotional and NPOV edits to Palaruvi Falls have been reverted. Again. For the fifth (or perhaps sixth) time. Please do read the guidelines which confirm why Wikipedia is not intended to be a guidebook and why it is not appropriate to use promotional and non-neutral terms (like "spectacular", "magnificent", "popular", "famous", "ideal place", etc). Please also consider reviewing the project norms for addressing continued contra-consensus or contra-guideline editing. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 11:27, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
