Technologically Speaking

[edit]
User Kaitie_Elaine has had a lot of hands on experience with technology. At age four she was introduced to her first computer, it was a gateway desktop approximately a 1998 model. Most of the time spent on this computer was spent playing CD-ROMS or playing in the paint application. At school computers were being used for educational purposes such as reading and/or math. As time progressed her technological skills increased. In elementary school students were quizzed on their typing abilities. There was a program called nimble fingers which tested the speed and accuracy of our typing skills. In sixth grade students were given the opportunity to participate in the Student Technology Leadership Program, Kaitie_Elaine jumped at the opportunity and was able to increase her technological skill a little more.

Technology controls most of her life. Her iPad holds most of her personal life and allows her to broaden her social experiences, her shuffle is filled with music that she listens to all day everyday no matter where she may be and her laptop is for educational, recreational, and personal purposes.
