Your "minor update to..." edits
[edit]Hi Kerrker! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --Lord Belbury (talk) 10:32, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Concern for references to kr-asia.com
[edit]Howdy! I have noticed that your edits to pages concerning start-ups and financial technology often make reference to kr-asia.com. This domain has shown up in a few anti-spam projects before, though it seems to be of similar reputable standing to an outlet like TechCrunch (that is, fine as long as the PR/promotion is kept in check). My concern is over the similarity of your username to the outlet. Do you have some association with kr-asia.com? Thanks, and happy editing! Mewnst (talk) 05:50, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hey there. I subscribe to their daily newsletter and their reporting seems to be quite reliable in terms of information pertaining to Asia and China, so I thought it'd be useful to update the pages here on Wikipedia when it's relevant to do so. I should have probably picked a better username though (to avoid any misunderstandings)! Kerrker (talk) 12:26, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
- No problem! It's all fine. Being a subscriber to a news outlet is definitely okay. Mewnst (talk) 16:59, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
