MOTDs (This space for rent)
You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 14:09, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

ITNC
When nominating items at WP:ITNC, please be warned that copying and pasting the lead paragraphs off BBC News is unacceptable and could amount to copyright violation. Strange Passerby (talk • cont) 03:50, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- Also, as you are not an admin, your user talk page editnotice should not suggest you are ("if you are an admin and disagree with an admin action I've taken") Strange Passerby (talk • cont) 03:51, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, I've understood. I realise that you shouldn't be copying blurbs of news as it is copyright violation. And note that the talk header was stolen off another user and I forgot all about it when I took it about what edits to make. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I look forward working with you on anything we have in common and taking advice from any editor about a mistake one makes. Like all editors, we try to be good and we all makes mistakes. Thank you for pointing it out. Abhijay What did I do this time? 04:22, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
ITN Credit & request
On 7 March 2012, In the news was updated with a news item that involved the article Allen Stanford, which you recently nominated. If you know of another interesting news item involving a recently created or updated article, then please suggest it on the candidates page. |
- While on the subject of ITN, when you nominate blurbs it would be great if you could also add them to the current event portal for the day they occurred. (I have already done so for your recent noms). Thanks, ThaddeusB (talk) 18:48, 7 March 2012 (UTC)

Saw that you had it for 2 months, added it back for you on request. Remember to ensure references, especially for WP:BLPs -- Samir 05:43, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
Bit more advice
Re this edit - I've undone it because nominators aren't supposed to mark their own items 'ready' (for obvious reasons - it would be like promoting your own article to GA). Also, you might want to read WP:VOTE - ITN runs on consensus, not hard numbers. Best, Strange Passerby (talk • cont) 02:14, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Administrator Assistance Required
{{adminhelp}} Hello, I would like an Administrator, preferably Ezhiki to see the matter about User talk:Stoljaroff1987. I need an administator, preferably a one that speaks good Russian to deal with his issue about delivering personal attacks in Russian, as that matter has been left unattended for days (not an admin, but I would like someone to see his case.)
- Hello, Abhijay. I have only very limited knowledge of Russian, but I have asked both the blocked user and the blocking admin if they can clarify the matter. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:45, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

- If a user is vandalizing (egregiously, not just incompetent edits) after being warned, it's a pretty good indication. Hope that helps. – GorillaWarfare (talk) 21:07, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
