Speedy deletion nomination of Gurkin's
[edit]A tag has been placed on Gurkin's requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. March 2010
[edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Gurkin's. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:20, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Jeopardy Season 27.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Jeopardy Season 27.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Jeopardy27.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Jeopardy27.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 03:49, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Now 36
[edit]Could you please provide a source for the track listing for Now That's What I Call Music! 36 (U.S. series) or I will have to redirect the page until the official track list is confirmed. Also, when creating links to articles, please remember to correctly pipe the links so they direct to the correct song title or artist. For example, you wiki-linked Magic, which goes to a disambiguation page; you need to add the full link, in this case Magic (B.o.B song). Thanks. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 22:08, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- Also, don't add links to other language wikipages if those wikipedia sites don't have a page for the article, such as did with Now! 36 by adding "[[pt:Now That's What I Call Music! 36 (série dos Estados Unidos)]]" --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 22:46, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- This is wikipedia, where sources are required. Please don't revert my redirect again unless you have reliable sources to confirm the track list. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 06:32, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Now That's What I Call Music! 41 (U.S. series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chris Brown (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
