An argument could be made that she's notable - she's "the back" in the Baby's Got Back music video. However, I am two degrees of separation from this person, so it's perhaps not my call. Bearian (talk) 16:13, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Violating WP:FILM guidelines

[edit]

I'm sorry to see that you re-added non-notable awards in violation of WP:FILM guidelines that state, in order to prevent awards-bloat, that we do not include organizations / awards without Wikipedia pages. In order to comply with consensus, those additions needs to be reverted. I would ask you not to edit-war in order to violate guidelines. You need to please discuss the issue at the WikiProject Film talk page. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:39, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can You Do Something?

[edit]

Ok, For Whatever Reason, On List of Awards and Nominations Received by The Walking Dead page, People Keep on Removing the iHorror Awards section! They keep on saying that it's spam and not real, when IT IS A REAL AWARD SHOW! Here's the Website: http://ihorror.com/awards/. Also, I am not spamming either! For Users that keep on removing it, they are delusional and too lazy to look it up. I think Drmies and the other users need to get Blocked/Reported or at least get Blocked for 24 Hours. I really don't get how it's spam. So can you Please do something about it?

I wish I could, but I don't have any admin powers. I see it as a legitimate award but others disagree, I have found that if an awards ceremony doesn't have a reviewed Wikipedia page a lot of editors do not see it as a notable award. I know it is frustrating, I have had a lot of my hard work removed by other editors, but it is a unfortunate drawback of a community based site that others can take their disputes too far. My only suggestion is that you could ask for a third party opinion or ask that it be posted on Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard. If you feel any editor is being abusive or conducting an edit war I would suggest you report them to an administrator, I have never done that, but it is my understanding that administrators have greater powers and can block editors, etc. I am sorry I can't be of more help. 17:16, 25 March 2017 (UTC)

I put it there, Hoping that they would so something about it. But to no Avail, they didn't do a Thing About It! Like Come On, That Stupid user Drmies needs to be blocked! This was Unfair too and I also talked to Brojam, the other person that frequently edits the page. Also, starting this week on the page, some people keep on removing awards without looking them up first. IT'S RIDICULOUS! Seriously you should check it out. And this page is a mess and I think a new page should be created instead or made better — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:84:4501:8003:1DF:D032:2DFC:57D6 (talk) 21:36, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
