Additionally, the Community Portal offers a more structured way to become acquainted with the many great committees and groups that focus on specific tasks. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English as well as the cleanup, welcoming, and counter-vandalism committees. Disputing the Michael Ballack article

I believe you're the one who is disputing the facts in the Michael Ballack article. Can you repond to my question about it on the article talk page?

World Cup 2006 Crime Concerns

The problem with the conclusion as it was written is that is was merely a quote from a news source. There's no need for an encyclopedia to just rehash a long quotation from a paper or magazine. A conclusion for that article will be quite hard to write objectively, it would likely only say that "x number of people were arrested," "no terrorism occured despite a number of threats," and stuff like that. But as it was, its just a reposting of someone elses quote and wikipedia isn't the place to repost news articles. If you can use it as a source, or provide information that is verifiable then that's one thing, but as it was the conclusion served no purpose other than to quote a newspaper. The article isn't about the tourists experiences at the world cup, its about the concerns leading up to the world cup. You'll notice that source you asked me about is quoting the German Intelligence agencies about neo-nazi's, i'd say they're as reputable as the interior minister. My objection is that the conclusion, as it was written, was simply reposting an article, rather than encyclopedic writing and gathering of facts from many sources and combining them into one article. If you can do that then great I would encourage you to do it, but simply cutting and pasting an article isn't encyclopedic, it would be more so to just put a link to the article and let the reader look at it in it's original form. Ougenweide

Hi there. I realize you're probably a big fan of the band Ougenweide and would like to see them get the recognition they deserve. Unfortunately, your recent edits to the Mittelalter rock article have to be reverted. You need to provide reliable sources to verify the claim that they are an early precursor to mittelalter rock. Not only was the source you provided somewhat unreliable but the source does not actually made any mention of Ougenweide's connection to the mittelalter rock. It does mention that Ougenwide performs prog rock with medieval elements but there's no mention of the specific scene or subgenre that the Mittelalter rock article is concerned about. Without any connection, there's no evidence that the band is a precursor to Mittelalter rock. Other bands like Jethro Tull also used medieval elements supposedly but there's no connection to Mittelalter rock either. You also made a couple of other changes, adding the word mostly to the description of Mittelalter rock being a german phenomenon. That also qualifies as original research because the source that is being used as reference for that statement does not say mostly. Contrary to what you indicated in your edit summary comment, the article at present does not claim that Skyclad is the only originators but rather a source of inspiration along with Corvus Corax discussed in the very next paragraph. I would appreciate it if you would refrain yourself from making any further edits to the article unless you can provide reliable sources to any claims made. Inline citations for your addition

Thank you for your additions here, but could I ask you to add inline citations to the content? The article is trying to maintain the high referencing standards, which require all sentences to clearly identify their sources. You've added a general reference, without page range.
