Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Sogou Baike, from its old location at User:Koitakppa/Sogou Baike. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 20:33, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Sogou Baike has been accepted

[edit]
Sogou Baike, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

Speedy deletion nomination of QQ Mail

[edit]

Hello Koitakppa,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged QQ Mail for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Information icon Hello, Koitakppa. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. JBW (talk) 23:17, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please comply with the conflict of interest guideline and, even more importantly, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use. If you don't, you are likely to be blocked from editing by an administrator. JBW (talk) 17:39, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently editing contrary to the guideline on conflict of interest. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, continuing to do the same things after being told about the relevant policies and guidelines is a different matter. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions, but if you continue to edit contrary to guidelines and policies you may well be blocked for longer, perhaps even indefinitely. If you believe that there are good reasons why unblocking you will lead to benefit for the project then you may request to be unblocked. To do so first read the guide to appealing blocks, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of this page. JBW (talk) 22:32, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Having been told that you would be blocked from editing if you continued in the same way, you chose to be blocked. A strange decision, but it's your choice. If you have changed your mind and would like to be unblocked after all, and if you think there are good reasons why unblocking you will benefit the project, you may request an unblock by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
