Reliable sources[edit]

Hello Kunjal 73, and thank you for your recent good-faith edits. However, self-published sources (like blogs) and user-generated content (like forums and other social media) are usually not considered reliable sources for encyclopedic content on Wikipedia. Ideally, reliable sources should have some form of editorial oversight and a history of fact checking and accuracy. You'll find more detailed information about the criteria for reliable sources at WP:Identifying reliable sources. I hope you continue contributing content based on such sources, and please feel free to ask if you have any further questions. You can also post for advice at WP:Teahouse, a forum for new editors. Volunteers there will be glad to help. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 14:56, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I saw that an article you created, Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur has not been added to any categories. According to the guideline Wikipedia:Categorization, every article should be in at least one category. Please help by adding categories to the articles you create. You can take a look at the categorization FAQ. If you need further help, ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:47, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tomasito Cruz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://baltimorejazzfest.com/artist-submissions-for-2017-now-closed/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. December 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Schazjmd. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Kitchen hood have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Schazjmd (talk) 15:29, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
