March 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Anon423. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Robert Adamson (poet), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I understand that the information you added may be true, but it is Wikipedia's policy due to libel and privacy laws that information about living persons is reliably sourced. Welcome![edit]

Hello, Lacebugger, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Robert Adamson (poet) did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. December 2023[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Jim Cassidy (jockey), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 00:45, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jim Cassidy’s crimes are well documented. It is negligent and somewhat hagiographic to not mention the events for which this jockey is most renowned. Look at Kate McClymont’s Wikipaedia page:

I’m just cutting and pasting from Kate McClmont’s wiki page. Since when has the truth been vandalism. This is why I can never trust wiki. One of the biggest corruption stories in Australian racing history - and one for which the hockey was banned for three years - isn’t allowed to be told? You need to include reliable, published source for any information that might be challanged, see WP:BLP and WP:BLPRS. -- LuK3 (Talk) 01:11, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The sources are on Kate McClymonts wiki page. As a newbie and not being technically very literate I don’t know how to include them. Can you please do it for me? Lacebugger (talk) 01:14, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Julian Assange. Thank you.
Additionally, where is this being reported at? I have not found a single news article about it. – 143.208.236.146 (talk) 03:15, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is a hoax. Please do not create hoaxes. Jack Upland (talk) 06:45, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
