Assignment 9[edit]

I can't see where your contribution to the Fraiberg article is significant enough for full credit. To make up lost points on Assignment 9, add 50 meaningful words to the main article. One thing the article needs is a picture, so you could add a picture for the points. J.R. Council (talk) 20:36, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm surprised you haven't done anything. There's still time. Let me know if you need suggestions.J.R. Council (talk) 21:26, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have been trying to add images but I am confused on what images I can use because of copyright. I found an image off google images but I am unsure if I can use it or not. Let me know if you know anything more. I have been looking on wikipedia for uploading images but I don't quite understand the copyright information. Your professor, User:James Council, asked me to help you adding an image to the Selma Fraiberg article. In order to use an image in an article, it needs to be licensed under an acceptable free license. These can be hard to find. If you use Google Image search, and click on Search Tools under the search bar, that lets you search by usage rights. Looking for images that could be freely reused gave me no results. This leaves you with just a few options.

Failing that, the only real option is to track someone down who owns the rights to an image of her and see if they would be willing to release the image under a free license. See c:Commons:Permission for more details. It's important, if you find an image online, that the person who you get in touch with actually owns the rights to that image. Lots of people post pictures online that they don't actually own the legal rights to.

Finding images that are suitable for use in Wikipedia isn't easy. The handout on the right has a lot of helpful information. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:53, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
