Ways to improve Lim Teck Kim Road

[edit]

Hi, I'm PamD. Leon de la paz, thanks for creating Lim Teck Kim Road!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. You have not shown why this street is notable enough to have a Wikipedia article: it exists, and is named after someone: not enough, sorry.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. PamD 11:44, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Yan Kit Road

[edit]

The article Yan Kit Road has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence for notability of this road: it exists, and is named after someone, but that isn't enough for an encyclopedia article. If the namesake had an article, this road could be mentioned there and redirected to his article, but he hasn't.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Cheng Yan Place

[edit]

The article Cheng Yan Place has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence for notability of this road: If the namesake was notable enough, create an article about him, mention the road, and redirect there from the road name. The fact that a road exists and is named after someone isn't enough to justify an encyclopedia article.
