Village Blacksmith[edit]

Nowhere in the Time magazine article does it state that Longfellow was inspired by or imitated this particular work; it merely notes its existence before Longfellow's poem. Unless you find a source that explicitly makes the connection, you are violating the Wikipedia policy on original research by drawing your own conclusions. Please remove this addition or, at the very least, re-word it to reflect the source you used, something to the effect of, "an earlier work references a blacksmith." I can not revert at this point due to the three revert rule. --Midnightdreary (talk) 16:15, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
