Thanks for asking[edit]

I'm doing fine. Care to get together for coffee some time?

BTW, re the above, I'd say Toyoda Sushi is (barely) worth a mention in an article on Lake City, because it is probably the most distinguished restaurant in that part of town, and no dentist deserves a mention unless he or she is famous for something, probably unrelated to being a dentist. - Jmabel | Talk 05:49, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty damned open (not working at the moment, and nothing big planned in the next few days). I've still got your phone #, I'll give you a call in the morning. - Jmabel | Talk 06:31, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Weekend is likely to be good; I'll know more as it gets closer. Obviously, you can't leave me a better phone # online, but you have my mobile #, so pass me yours that way & I will know to use that in the future rather than a home phone. - Jmabel | Talk 22:28, 27 March 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Frank Jasper (Vision Quest) Article Scheduled For Deletion[edit]

Hi there, You have shown through your contributions that you're a fan of the 1980s movie "Vision Quest". I created an article on actor Frank Jasper who played the villian, Brian Shute, in the movie. I've also included information about what Dr. Jasper is doing now. Many people have wondered through Wikipedia and Imdb whatever happened to him, and I've tried to put this information out there for everyone. Unfortunately, some people think the article should be deleted for whatever reason. If you loved the movie as much as I did, please go to this link and voice your support before the article is deleted. Thanks a lot. I would appreciate your support very much.

County List suggestion[edit]

This user lives in Seattle.

Hi Lukobe, Haruo here. Thanks for your note about what I perceive as a weakness in List of counties in Washington. While Washington state articles are a major focus of mine, I work predominantly in the Esperanto end of things; I am currently creating a page there (eo:Kantonoj de Vaŝingtonio in which I am attempting to incorporate my suggestion about county lists. I mentioned the subject on the English talk page in hopes that someone more invested in the English Wikipedia might pick it up and run with it. --Haruo 20:45, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to rejoin WikiProject The Beatles[edit]

Dear esteemed editor and former member of WikiProject The Beatles,

Debate over "policy" recently overheated, to the detriment of the WikiProject and Wikipedia. As part of the fallout, you resigned from the Project.

I now believe, thanks in part to your input, that the WikiProject doesn't need "policy", so I have tagged the page as historical and blanked it. I would like to invite you to:

  • Rejoin the project
  • Edit and trim the project page and template mercilessly, to reflect a new focus of working to produce featured content on The Beatles (or "the Beatles", it's your choice)
  • Help bring the next newsletter up to date and get it released.

It's your Project, please consider taking it back and shaping it into the Project you want it to be.

If it turns out that people aren't interested in rejoining and refocussing the Project I'm perfectly happy with that, and will resign myself and suggest tagging the Project as inactive. My role has always been primarily organisational, and if I don't have the support of good editors like yourself it's totally pointless carrying on. Lar and I started the Project because we felt one were needed, it is not and has never been a vanity exercise and we both have other things we could be doing.

PS: Mine's a London Pride. --kingboyk 12:40, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
