Hello, I'm Asartea. I noticed that in this edit to 2021 Louisiana's 2nd congressional district special election, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Asartea Talk | Contribs 16:39, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Removing endorsements...again... If you read the political endorsement rules you'll see clearly "Lists of endorsements should only include endorsements which have been covered by reliable independent sources. This means endorsements should not be sourced solely to a Tweet or Instagram post, for example." Also, I monitor every day for these endorsements to be mentioned in independent sources and they haven't happened yet. So, you might want to read the rules yourself.

I have read WP:ENDORSE, thank you. Why is there no consistency then? On the 2021 Boston mayor election, the source for Michelle Wu’s endorsement by Elizabeth Warren is a tweet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Boston_mayoral_election#Endorsements. In the 2020 US Senate in NC Race, the source for Cal’s endorsement by Obama was a Medium post by him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_Senate_election_in_North_Carolina#Endorsements_3. And for the 2020 US Senate in GA (Regular) race, the source for an Ossoff endorsement by him is also a Medium post by him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020–21_United_States_Senate_election_in_Georgia#Endorsements_2. And this is across many of the 2020 US Senate pages. Why are these Medium posts and tweets considered reliable independent sources, but not the edits made by me? Revert

[edit]

Hi - just a note to say no worries about the revert at 2022 Alaska's at-large congressional district special election. I was rolling back a bunch of edits that had been performed by an abusive sockpuppeteer, I didn't actually look at the actual edits individually. If you're able to confirm that the edit was legit, I'm happy with you reinstating it. Best Girth Summit (blether) 21:15, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
