Please relax; I come in peace.

Salutations, MJ94. I have written several episode synopsis pages that Nihonjoe has renamed using the move function which leaves behind redirects. I am simply reconfiguring the URLs so that the redirect pages can be done away with.

Dairi no Kenkyo (talk) 06:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

What redirects should be deleted? MJ94 (talk) 06:59, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I deleted all of them. They were from the bizarre titles for the episode lists to the normalized titles. Check my logs if you want to see which ones were deleted. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 08:30, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Editor review update

 Done
Hi there! You recently filed an editor review request, and a review has been completed. Due to the nature of the process, backlogs frequently build up and most users only review one to few reviews. Since I believe you have received a fairly detailed review, would you like to archive it? I am aware that it has not been thirty days, but archiving it would allow editors to focus on reviewing editors that have not yet received one. If you wish, please reply here and I can do it. Of course, you could leave it up, but I do not believe there will be any more detailed reviews. Netalarmtalk 18:07, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

No problem. Go ahead and archive it, thank you. I thought it already was archived when I got this message. MJ94 (talk) 21:23, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
I'll be archiving shortly. Nah, notifications about it being completed don't necessarily end with it being archived, since sometimes a user wants to wait for more reviews (not likely though). Netalarmtalk 21:25, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

RE: For you...

Haha, aw! Thanks for awarding me that barnstar - it made my day! PoinDexta1 | Talk to Me 08:51, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Fardd

Hi MJ,

I noticed that you moved Fardd to include the disambiguator "(disambiguation)" and added the disambiguation notice at the bottom of the page. Because that page lists only people with the surname "Fardd", it is not a disambiguation page but an article about a surname. While it doesn't have much information on it yet, it should eventually develop into an article about the surname, such as Spencer (surname), Smith (surname), or Yuan (surname). Even if the page was a disambiguation page, it would not be appropriate to move it to include "(disambiguation)" in the title because no article has been deemed the primary target; in such cases, the disambiguation page is located at the undisambiguated title. I'm glad you're interested in anthroponymy and disambiguation pages on Wikipedia. These are two of my favourite areas of the project and I hope you maintain your interest in improving them.

Happy editing,

Neelix (talk) 19:14, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Rich Iott

Stop moving Rich Iott to Rich Lott. Iott - I-o-t-t - is his last name, as even the barest amount of research would have told you. ClovisPt (talk) 21:59, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Oh, wow. I failed. That was an "I"! I'm sorry, I read it as a lowercase "l". MJ94 (talk) 22:08, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
No worries. Sorry about the snappy tone. Cheers, ClovisPt (talk) 17:19, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Disambig page titles.

Hi. The prioper title for the disambig page for Foo is "Foo", with "Foo (disambiguation)" redirecting there for targeting of intentional incoming links. See, e.g., Mercury, Washington, David Jones. We only use "Foo (disambiguation)" where there is a single clear primary topic for "Foo". See, e.g. Apple (disambiguation), John Marshall (disambiguation), Genius (disambiguation). Cheers! bd2412 T 15:44, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Your input is requested

I have started an RfC on inappropriate userboxes, i.e. those that don't follow the introductory paragraph at WP:UBX:

"A userbox (commonly abbreviated as UBX) is a small colored box ... designed to appear only on a Wikipedian's user page as a communicative notice about the user, in order to directly (or even indirectly) help Wikipedians collaborate more effectively on articles."

How does a userbox about a user's own preferences in regards to what topics on Wikipedia they hate and what type of sexually explicit material they like and actively view help Wikipedians collaborate with one another? Which is the question I am raising.

This introductory paragraph over at WP:UBX contradicts WP:NOTCENSORED so I'd like you to weigh in at WT:UBX, it'll only take 5 minutes of your time. I've sent this message because the topic has not had much community input

Hi there

Hi there, I've reverted your edit on Gupz Saund, the author blanked the page so instead of reverting it just add CSD G7 on the page. Thanks :). Keep up the good work! --Addihockey10e-mail 16:37, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Oops, my mistake. Thanks! MJ94 (talk) 16:39, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
No worries! See you around! --Addihockey10e-mail 16:40, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Also, just a note, if ClueBot hasn't reverted a blanked page it's probably because it was blanked by the author. But always double check ;) --Addihockey10e-mail 16:42, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I know. It was just a mistake. :) MJ94 (talk) 16:43, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for reverting the vandalism on my talk page. You were so speedy I missed the chance to get annoyed by whatever it was. (talk) 16:47, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Time for action

Just saw the warning you placed at User_talk:76.228.37.173 After you did, that user vandalized, once again, Kenneth McClintock and other Puerto Rico-related pages. I would suggest that you go ahead and block that user, who clearly has earned it. Pr4ever (talk) 01:56, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi there! Thank you for the information. However, I am not an admin. Therefore, I do not have the ability to block someone. If a user is vandalizing past a final warning, or seems to be a vandalism only account, you may report it here. However, it looks as if the vandalism has ceased now. If you have any more questions please feel free to leave me another message. Thanks for notifying me! MJ94 (talk) 02:43, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
