TfD nomination of Template:PD-nosource

[edit]

Template:PD-nosource has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 04:41, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:PD images with no source information, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:PD images with no source information is used solely by a template that has been deleted (CSD C3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:PD images with no source information, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Orphaned non-free media (Image:TheBlunderer.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:TheBlunderer.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:26, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chorister's House located next to St Mary's Church, Studley Royal

[edit]

Hi Madmedea

You may remember you helped me greatly a few years ago when I was a complete novice and trying to put together some articles on William Burges. After a Wiki break, I'm revisting those articles and trying to improve them, including referencing, as you recommended.

I LOVED your photo of the Chorister's House. It's a fab photo and what a building. Surely Burges, although the left/middle looks more him than the right. Can't find a reference in Mordaunt Crook, but I've only scanned it this evening and may have missed it. Do you know? And did you ever get to Forthampton?

Hope you're well.

KJP1 (talk) 21:28, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Long time no word from Madmedea. I assume you've moved on from Wikipedia now. But you can't have lost your zest for Burges - no true fan ever does. I really hope you're well. KJP1 (talk) 22:21, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On a long wikipeadia holiday, I think. Hope you're well. If you do stray this way anymore, check out the William Burges page. It's come along nicely and has some fabulous photos of yours in the gallery section. KJP1 (talk) 10:49, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

William Burges

[edit]

Long gone from here, I fear. But if you ever come back, Burges made GA today. A happy day for all lovers of his work. Hope you're well. KJP1 (talk) 22:02, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And now the great man is FA! I do hope you're well and, if you ever chance upon it, that the article pleases you. KJP1 (talk) 06:08, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And today, TFA! Do have a look if you ever re-visit here. I think it does him justice. KJP1 (talk) 06:56, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
