List of Prime Ministers of Spain
[edit]Hi there. I have noticed that you have re-reverted my edit restoring the table layout at List of Prime Ministers of Spain. I do not know the reasons for this reversion, since there was no edit summary, but I understand that you think I'm some kind of edit warrior. While this might be, in your opinion, true, my intention is to incorporate the content changes the IP user performed into the table layout that was used before User:Onlyonetime messed with the tables. If you do not agree, or like the (in my opinion very ugly) new layout better, I'd like to have a productive discussion on the talk page, instead of reversion wars. I will wait a prudential time after writing this, but should I receive no response, I will continue incorporating the content changes into the "good" layout, thus reverting your last edit. - Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of Prime Ministers of Spain, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. The table layout is modificable, but the huge layout change you are trying to impose requires proper discussion in the talk page, particularly if there is no consensus around it. Thank you for your attention. Habbit (talk) 21:24, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- Please stop this madness: you continue to make huge edits to List of Prime Ministers of Spain without bothering to think about why the page looks like it did before your last edit. If you are, as it seemed by the edit summary on your first edit (the only one with an edit summary, as rude as it might be), doing this for some chivalrious sense of "let's defend the poor blocked IP user", I'd like to assure you that (as it would have been evident by the history page), I was working to integrate that user's content changes into the current layout, which is being discussed at the talk page. Of course, I was not over (I have a life), and things like the {{Politics of Spain}} template were still not added. Apparently, you saw that, and instead of continuing the improvement of the article, you decided to act the way you did. Once again, I want to reassure you that 1) I'm no vandal/infuriated editor/whatever, and 2) such a big layout change could be implemented if there is consensus over it. However, simple reverting me endlessly will not do. Habbit (talk) 22:04, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, enough with the cotton talk: I formally request you to undo your last edit to List of Prime Ministers of Spain and restore the old table layout with the pictures and timelines. You are behaving like a vandal, because the usual "be bold" policy is not of (direct) application when other editors raise objections. Moreover, when those objections have been repeatedly raised by me in the article talk page. You have discussed nothing, answered none of my messages and limited yourself to continuously reverting the page to the same version over and over. On the other hand, I have been trying to discuss the layout changes in the talk page, while I have continously worked on incorporating the content changes to the "good" layout so that the changes performed by the IP user and you would not be lost in the reversions, thus acting in the good faith you did not assume in your first edit summary. For the last time, please act sensible and enter discussion, or I will be forced to go to WP:AN/I and report your vandalism. Habbit (talk) 19:32, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
