My talk page[edit]

Hello Maria567,

I noticed that you left a comment on my talk page and later deleted it for some reason. You left the header "I Have Been Refused the Right to Post on Wikipedia". Let's be clear: You have no right to post anything you want on Wikipedia. No one does. This is a private website with clearly defined policies and guidelines, and you have no free speech rights here. You are welcome to write articles that fully comply with our policies and guidelines. You are not allowed to add something to the encyclopedia that obviously does not comply, even for a few days. Your comment referred to "people talking badly about your site saying that everything on here is a pack of lies." If that was the widespread view of Wikipedia, then we would not have moved up last year from the #6 website to the #5 website in the world in terms of usage, according to Alexa. And we are far and away the #1 website in the world in terms of originally written content. I am personally sympathetic to your efforts to get an education in IT. But as a Wikipedia administrator, it is my responsibility to help ensure that our encyclopedia articles comply with our policies and guidelines. So, I suggest that you reconsider your approach. You can become a productive editor here and develop your IT skills on the world's #5 website. Or you can quit. The choice is yours. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:20, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
