From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Matt enos may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. —tregoweth (talk) 04:08, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made during January 20 2007 (UTC) to Nickelback

[edit]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. PTO 01:31, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Amanda O'Connor) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Please do not replace the main infobox picture or add any pictures without discussing on the talk page first. In order for it to be okay to replace the pic, it at least must be higher quality than the current one (your addition was not). Please refrain from adding personal pet pictures to the article. A good place for the pic you uploaded might be your user page. Thank you, VanTucky 21:42, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your second warning. Please do not vandalise the guinea pig page. VanTucky 22:17, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Mimiguineapig.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mimiguineapig.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:15, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:Phil23.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Phil23.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Notability of Matt enos

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Matt enos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Nyttend 18:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to George W. Bush

[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to George W. Bush. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:News 122 jason mewes2.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 03:54, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jmewes.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:News 122 jason mewes2.jpg. The copy called Image:News 122 jason mewes2.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 04:00, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Last chance to reason

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Last chance to reason, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Nucleusboy 02:39, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
