Hello McFadden Gavender Advertising. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Joy Cone, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Hello, McFadden Gavender Advertising. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. The page Draft:Joy Cone has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. This article needs to be rewritten from scratch from reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not an outlet for promotion, advocacy, or advertising.

Pages can sometimes avoid these pitfalls and still be seen as an ad copy or unambiguously promotional, particularly if the editor appears to be a paid editor or has some other conflict of interest. Common mistakes or beliefs about promotional editing center on the assumption that promotional editing only applies to promotion for commercial gain. Some tags or G11 nominations are met with confusion by creators, particularly if they spend much time reading or creating corporate documents, mission/vision statements, or similar copy for their organization. The frequent exposure to promotional tone may make it difficult to notice non-neutral phrases or styles, as the editor has grown accustomed to seeing it as everyday writing or speech. This can be difficult, but not impossible, to unlearn.
Another common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. Anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. and CV/resumé's are by their nature promotional.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see this page on citing sources. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Joy Cone[edit]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Joy Cone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://joycone.com/history/. @McFadden Gavender Advertising: Not exactly. Wikipedia account names must represent individuals, not companies, organizations or groups of people. "McFadden Gavender" is the name of a company, which automatically disqualifies it for use as an account name, unless you combine it with a personal name to make it clear that one person operates this account (e.g. "John at McFadden Gavender"). Accounts must only be accessed by one person for their sole use, and never shared with anyone else.
Also, please note that a company isn't entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. Wikipedia only includes companies that have met its notability criteria, which requires that it has significant coverage in multiple reliable, third-party sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is considered to be promotion.
You also pasted copyrighted material on Wikipedia, making your submission a copyright violation. You cannot post copyrighted material on Wikipedia - even if you are the copyright holder, or have the copyright holder's permission - unless the material has been released for use by the verified copyright owner into the public domain or under a license compatible with Wikipedia. These licenses allow anyone — not just Wikipedia — to share, distribute, transmit, and adapt your work, free of charge and in perpetuity, provided that you are attributed as the author. Copyright infringement[edit]
@McFadden Gavender Advertising: Responding to your question in your unblock request: the history section on Draft:Joy Cone was directly copy and pasted from https://joycone.com/history/ with no indication on the webpage that the content has been released into the public domain or that it has been licensed under a Wikipedia-compatible license, meaning its inclusion on Wikipedia constitutes copyright infringement. - Summarization of content is allowed when the source is cited, but direct copying is never permitted unless it's done as a limited quotation. See WP:CV and MOS:QUOTE for more information. In almost all scenarios, however, content from a company's own website shouldn't be used as a source as it is not independent nor secondary. If no such independent and secondary sources are available, then the company likely isn't notable enough to have its own article. In this case, even if you did manage to create an article that is encyclopedic and non-promotional in nature that also doesn't violate any copyrights, it would still be deleted.
