McAllen-Miller Airport

[edit]

Excuse me??? I soooo did not put those gate numbers there! Those numbers were there WAAAAAY before I edited the page and I have not added any nonsense! Try clicking on other users edits and see for yourself. Are you trying to trick me????? Bucs2004 18:12, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please be a little more careful when looking through the differences. Here is the addition of the 15 gate nonsense. Here is the addition of the 4 runway nonsense. All of these were done by this anon. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 00:13, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tower.JPG and Gate.JPG

[edit]

I have reuploaded image:Tower.JPG and image:Gate.JPG under the names of image:Towerbrospiairport.jpg and image:Gate2brospiairport.jpg. Under the former names the pictures got overwritten by newly uploaded pictures with those same names. The new image names should solve the problem. I have listed the old image names of Tower and Gate under the Images for Deletion as they are now obsolete and I have made the appropriate changes to the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport article. If you have any questions please contact me. James E. Zavaleta T C E 21:56, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Logo1a.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo1a.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use disputed for Image:Airport-logo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Airport-logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:30, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:BRO-738-Gate2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BRO-738-Gate2.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:05, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BRO-738-Gate2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
