[edit]Hello Megamediamissus. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Megamediamissus. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Megamediamissus|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. --Dlohcierekim (talk) 21:37, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Dear sir, I am not, nor have I ever been paid in any way for editing this article. If the articles writing style is inappropriate (it seemed disjointed, and full of my soundbites and others' bites") and a bit oddly put together, I would assist in respectfully maintaining it as it references others and events that are true, and refers to one persons contribution via many sources. I expected my activism to be covered, not my work. But you are mistaken. I have tried to improve the grammer or add citations where i saw work that was not well cited. Perhaps this was my mistake.
thank you for being speedy. ***can you advise pls? This is not familiar territory...I enjoyed adding links for all entities or names or companies that was possible this past month, as i am in hospital. I also believed it was helpful to you-I didn't know this was a profession or some form of fraud. Normally I am far too busy. If I sound ignorant, I am sorry, I don't understand these sites well at all. I would like advice and thank you Perhaps there can just be a re-do of the things written about the activism as it changed the world so far as legislation goes and it is very well documented, accurate, and pulls together global sources for an actual account of the truth - something I seldom see and frankly, I celebrated. I leave it to you, but could care less about my acting rehash, though I was just told my White Rabbit (VFX) will go to Cannes, which is nice to hear when you're under the weather (and i will be fine), and I expect and hope for the best for the young star that found me and pulled out my best. I know you guys have hard enough jobs without me bitching at you, and of course its not personal. I also hope you get paid somehow;) ...I am under the weather this week, and this took me by surprise, pls forgive the initial emotionality. just let me know what to do. Much of the world knows little of what has happened with that species. That page was informative and it found things I never could find, and chrissy seemed to do that also, thank you. Best regards, I am grateful, Kelly F PS: of I am good at "Black seo, I may need to find a new career and you just offered an actress who desperately sought new skills an idea, lol - for real, I wish I had not been so pissy last night. Pain has made me a monster and you guys do so much for the world to have knowledge and that is huge. PPS: I would not have asked for help if I was being hired for something nefarious:) I thought referencing things to prove them was helpful. I am sorry i am so ignorant. pls note i paid some visits and informed some clients and high profile affiliates of this out of respect and to see if i may obtain advice. It does read like an advertisement and I hate that, but the events are factual and I strongly maintain that the resolution we created at the IUCN was a historical event that only your page has managed to truthfully express...pls help me find an answer that makes sense.
Sir, I saw your comment. So you choose to delete my page? Last, there was a new citation added due to a film I starred in making \cannes but I did not add it. My mac was used, but the director, who understands korean, cited it. I have complied with your request not to edit anything.
Best wishes
Kelly
I saw this, and felt it was a beautiful thing. "Our goal here should always be to respond to the user respectfully, assist the user with policies and guidelines, explain how things work here, and give the user an opportunity to ask questions. It may not send everyone away happy, but the user was at least given respectful responses and opportunities to ask questions to people who were willing to answer them." Thank you sir, and my goodness, your job is HARD
Hi there, i am seeing requests or what appear to be from chrissy and i am very confused as to what is expected of me, though i did provide her request for citation. pls advise?
your guidelines, pls address my queries
I wish to be clear that I did not write the entirety of content or the majority at all and this is not 'MY' page at all, and I am under no impression it is. It is information. I recently admitted to improving grammar as i would do so and was encouraged to improve. When I did examine sources, I found many more that seemed much more to what you sought, and I had not known this. It is clear they cannot be added, though I was never answered pending your initial accusation of my being a black box seo hire, a serious accusation. I truly felt I would be treated as someone politely asking to be helped or to assist. As per your labelled request for improvement, a friend offered to "improve" via fact adding as the page had invited, they claim to support this issue, and while I read that you request all contributors be unconnected, 4 years past during which you had no issues with content being added to a page that discussed me in many ways, albeit poorly - and that is a long time for such a sudden blast of accusations. This led me to wish to assist you quickly and as "human judgment is above your rules" according to your inclusionist, I wished to err on the side of being helpful, and it did not save any changes. This was something I felt was helpful to YOU noting chrissy's frustration in her public comments- deleting all but very precise facts. I wanted to be courteous. I don't understand your view of myself as "excepted from your community", as I didn't realize you have a membership, but pls advise me on how to view this community and my role now. "what makes an insider?" Are all contributors evaluated and assumed to be nefarious as rapidly as I was upon asking for help? Are their guidelines for this? I am a volunteer too, and for a cause I believe in, and I respect those who give of their gifts. I simply expect more from them as I expect them to care more than those seeking a salary alone. I never expected this nature of issue and it is difficult for me to accept without understanding. If you maintain this view, which seems petty in my opinion at best and unregulated or contrary to your guidelines, then I truly have no idea what your purpose is. I will cancel my financial support, as i no longer find this ethical. I have been in touch with your Canadian PR contact out of concern for what I feel is action unbecoming to your organization and as a journalist and broadcaster who made honest attempts to be helpful and was treated in the manner I was, I feel I did wikipedia a service to improve it. I advise you to consider an expectation of professionalism when using language that is public if you invite trust, not chatter alienates, and is poorly explained, or appears semantic based and contrary to your guidelines. I also requested options, and was given none, but I was told quite quickly I am a spammer, an outsider, (and all member surely begin at the beginning, yet this is my beginner experience after reaching out - a poor example in my opinion for other beginners) - essentially, not part of your community due to my use of an adjective - something others should possibly be warned of as they struggle to learn about what is now feeling like an exclusionary creation? I implore you to view my comments with respect as i have that for you, and am truly confused, seeking understanding. If this is the manner in which you proceed, I wish no part of the community and will stop educating myself and advise others to be cautious. I am now exhausted of this matter. (talk • contribs) 06:01, 18 April 2018 (UTC)I have requested the page be deleted regardless of debate if all i have experienced remains consistent due to my rapid loss of faith in this community's process and conduct. thank you. ==april 22===regarding page kelly frances.....Hello, I am uncertain as to whether or not this is the appropriate area to discuss this matter, kindly help me out if not. I noticed your staff began editing this page (activism, cvoice actor), and took this as a sign that you\d wished to offer options or assist me. I then modified and added new - and reliable (news articles, etc) sources. I was invited and encouraged to do so. The last rationale I received from your admin was "I am not part of the team, and feelentitled". I am unclear what wikipedia would have someone in my situation do now as my name is searched often due to film niminaitons, and your records are embarrassing. Can I know my options please? Thank you for your help.
I tried to add a thank you to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Dlohcierekim page and seem to have failed at that... I understand the time investment and commitment volunteering requires and regardless of my outcomes, with to sincerely thank them for receiving input and their help in what felt very confusing. I hope to see Wikipedia improve and grow. Your help was always appreciated - despite my feeling on other matters. Megamediamissus (talk) 02:05, 22 April 2018 (UTC) I asked legit questions and I received this. That’s not how professional communities are supposed to work. That’s abuse
I am being bullied. If this continues I will seek some way to stop it. I feel you’re taking advantage of my my situation via many admins ignoring legitimate requests, gratitude (??? What the hell?), abd today it continued via a new admin with what seemed to be sarcasm in reply to thanks. Surely this is not your usual protocol. Why am I being abused? It’s hurtful. Please stop. If you don’t care to help me, please don’t abuse me / thank you. Megamediamissus (talk) 16:33, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Megamediamissus (talk) 16:25, 22 April 2018 (UTC) My Comprehension ? Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:36, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
I am sorry Kudoung, I’m genuinely not sure if this is intended to be sarcastic or not (?) though it’s not in keeping with my messages or others. I adamantly requested options for personal reasons and time investment, as well as and personal growth as pertains to this community. Your message seems akin to a lecture, and a bit sarcastic. If I’m mistaken pls let me know as I would appologise. Some of my Prior treatment makes me hesitant. Megamediamissus (talk)
- Wikipedia is content is governed by its users. The decision of whether to keep or delete an article is a democratic process based on our policies and guidelines for inclusion. You'd be surpriced, but most of the comments on the above AfD were made by some of our most mature, professional, admins. They have been around for a very long time and are highly experienced. Thank you for your comprehension. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:36, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

Sir, Why are you replying to my gratitude and questions with this repetitive and subjective content? Pls leave me alone as this is embarrassing to you now - I thanked you. I was professional. Kindly try your best. This is approaching bullying. Should I expect more of this unkind messaging? It has no purpose save to be highly condescending and I’m disgusted. Truly disgusted.i asked in a polite fashion that I have help the options and I receive this? It’s abuse. This is approaching a level that could become abusive. Simply put, pls Leave me alone. Why the hell are you constantly attacking me? I am seriously asking as it is feeling that way and it’s hurtful!!!!!
I have lost count of the accusations thrown at me since I reached out to Wikipedia for help. This is a frightening thing for a beginner if it’s typical
- He isn't attacking you in the slightest. If anything, he seems to be defending the behaviour of both himself and those who commented on the Articles for Deletion debate. Honestly, it reads here like the two of you are talking past each other, which is to be expected in a situation like this. To clarify: The article was deleted because the arguments in the AfD debate were in favour of deleting the article; your massive walls of text didn't help your arguments in this regard, nor did the admission that people associated with you worked on the article or taking umbrage at the original deletion rationale, which is a judgment on the article content rather than criticism of you yourself. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 20:54, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
v^_^v in reply to this comment and those involved, respectfully... Well, I felt the massive walls of text were necessary but if this upset you, I am sorry again. I also have very little understanding of this and my mission was never to "achieve anything" in a targeted and strategic business sense, but to improve, or I don't imagine I'd have asked for help. I thank you for another lesson. I am literally afraid to use this community now as I can't learn all norms in a day and it feels like an expectation at times, but thank you for assuring that for me, and I do hope my previous, admin directed thanks reached its target. Thank you for clarifying, that is appreciated. *Last, as feedback, *(we all need it, and i direct it to general editors) the offense taken came more with the accusation of very unseemly activity - and the concern i had was much for the issue - not my job. In using language, I urge you always strive to remember you are talking to a human, possibly of an erroneous but painful understanding - as I know you have endeavored to and state so - a human, and not a machine that is in sync with pure logic, but I do understand you. Jéské Couriano: As said, I appreciate your kind tips and will try and be consistent. These skills *(pertaining to computers and new age info mediums) are hard for many people, especially those who grew up sans the net. The kind intervention of this admin was very much welcome and appreciated. It took very little to stifle the fear of what was a strange vulnerable - a simple kind or relatable sentence. ^^ though yes, i talk too much ^^
Not so unwelcoming
[edit]Hi, I am a Wikipedian who noticed your bio because I subscribe to notifications of AfD for articles about women. Even though deleted articles are in general completely deleted, I asked for and got a copy of yours (User:HouseOfChange/Kelly_Frances) as a way to save references that will be useful if your career becomes "notable" (by the Wikipedia definition) in the future. (For example, I notice you have two projects going to Cannes, where coverage in "reliable sources" might result.) I wish you good luck and hope you will not be discouraged by your experience here. HouseOfChange (talk) 03:06, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
That is extremely unexpected and considerate of you. I wish the issue of the resolution and manner of bear abuse in Korea continuing was noteworthy and perhaps it can be, but I am not aware of the criteria yet and that's not my job. I imagine those films should show up on Cannes' site around now, and I am the main actor in both via voice, I would take your advice re: best communication methods if it is suitable or helpful at any time as life speeds up for me. I am learning to use this community - or struggling to - evidently badly and slowly, but I have depended on wikipedia as a writer for years and have respect for it's use, great respect, though it is often criticized and it would be nice to see it become as solid as possible as a source of data that welcomes help. I feel I owe the community that gratitude at the least. I am trying to understand the best way to engage with Wikipedians for casual concerns. Again, I certainly appreciate you thinking of me in that manner. I greatly appreciate you focussing on women. Thank you again. your action shows a very impressive level of commitment and generosity. Shortly I will have no more time to pay much attention but this has been very strangely emotional. There is strong vulnerability I did not expect. I actually always thanked my lucky stars for wiki. I depended on it. I found it invaluable. I guess its easy to assume it happens magically...and yes, I talk too much and always have - I work on it, believe it or not ^^.Megamediamissus (talk) 08:11, 23 April 2018 (UTC)megamediamissusMegamediamissus (talk) 08:11, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind words and also for the kitten on my talk page. I think diving into your own work and doing a great job will be an excellent antidote for an bad feelings left over from Wikipedia arguments. By the way, Wikipedia already does have an article about bear farming (Bile bear. You can see in that article a lot of Wikipedia style; for example, because of our policy concerning "neutral point of view" you won't see words like "cruel" used but I think nobody reading that article would imagine bear farming is a good thing.
- I don't want to give you unrealistic ideas about how hard it is for an actor to get an article in Wikipedia; here is our "notability" requirement for actors and other entertainers:Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Entertainers. I think there is a better possibility for you to qualify under our "general notability guideline": "A person is presumed to be notable if he or she has received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject." This would require more than one notable news source to write about some area of your life and interests: for example about your work in voice acting, or your experience with one of your Cannes projects, or your work for moon bears. It is a hard level to meet, but not impossible, and you sound interesting, so probably newspapers and magazines will eventually notice that and interview you. But doing your best work in your real life will earn you more joys than will having an article in English-language Wikipedia. Hope this is helpful. HouseOfChange (talk) 15:55, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
Reference help and bear facts - improving accuracy?
[edit]Megamediamissus (talk) 04:55, 24 April 2018 (UTC)Hello HouseofchangeMegamediamissus (talk) 04:55, 24 April 2018 (UTC) Thank you for the kind advice, once agin, and the encouragement. I appreciate that you find me interesting :): most may say "weird" - but thank you, that's lovely of you. I feel the present positivity is encouraging, and I do enjoy learning, I find this community fascinating as i see it's astounding intricacy, though I feel I make many, many errors. I am sure it is a headache for you all to clean up our messes. It took me a year to master email.
Articles, news and mainstream media: I am (embarrassingly) confused. There seemed a few too many news articles about the work with moonbears, and wondering if they were not properly sourced? There were also some less than kind quotes I suppose I said in my silly younger years taken directly from news I wished were not recorded ands I was pleased to see them go, anyhow...^^. I am not sure why news work or videos would be considered unreliable sources - I do not own any of this work, networks do or artists for music videos, etc, but I am credited. I AM grateful for your direction to the page, but yes, it is an issue that is not neutral for myself, and the need for neutrality is understood. I would truly hope people found the trade horrific :(Thanks - though I am dismayed that the page is extremely out of date and lacks accuracy regarding the progression of the legal status of the practice and major references from global government bodies, statements from ambassadors (some I actually managed to quietly solicit for larger NGOs as a grassroots player has freedom from political pressure save deportation), etc- perhaps I may help out here to update legal matters and status, photos or otherwise? If so, may I know how much info is welcome on a page, or appropriate when properly sourced? --pls note am NOT interested in myself here, but the page is not accurate and misses both a major victory and failure that is of concern. The topic is very tough to wrap one's head around and i know that, it took me a decade. It would be nice to be helpful for once... Please let me know if I may or should add to the bear page to assist to improve accuracy.
Regarding the sources that were not correct, or deleted, etc: I am likely missing something and feeling rather dim. They seemed to be appropriate when I reviewed them - sourced from media such as BBC, Vietnams national news, Korea, USA...they discussed my work in some nature, and there were videos (embarrassing ones)...I have years of blackmail material waiting for me online;) and I am credited on the videos - I don't own any of them. I have hosted numerous shows, and the director featured in one Cannes submission recognized me on his linkedin and discussed our work and the filming (I have no idea if these matter but it was lovely), though I haven't checked out much press but have noticed there is a fair bit, albeit in Korean language. I haven't actually seen the films yet, lol...I just hope I don't suck ^^ Regardless, if i am able, I am very pleased to do as you suggest in time, and grateful for your guidance. I will see what happens next, it was and is very exciting - especially for a specialized voice actress, though right now this actress is hoping most for her health and happiness. ^^ Best regards always. I love cats. I wished I could upload a custom graphic but wasn't able. You (all) certainly deserve the personalization as you commit your own to each interaction.--Megamediamissus (talk) 08:17, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks again for the nice cat picture, cute cat! I mostly work on biographies of living people (which often need lots of help!) but if you post one or two URLs for good bear-related articles here, I will take a look and see if I can get that info added to the article. HouseOfChange (talk) 03:33, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
Bear bile page reference assistance with gratitude
[edit]Hi there, that means a lot to me, as I would appreciate at least political info to be accurate, and offer help if it's useful. I can list citations that are out of date if this helps? I note you have Animals Asia and moonbears.org (AAF is VN and china centered but excellent and current, and moonbears.org is very emotionally biased and hasn't been updated in a year, but it is easy to follow for history and dates). I can point out some issues I see: 15: china was the only country that was not signatory to the IUCN resolution passed in 2012 (on the website I will recommend, you will find a politics section that may be useful enough to just update the legal status^^). The page discusses a different species of bear poaching in N America but this bear species is unique and exclusive to Asia. The article references the black bear, a common species. The correct title is "bear bile trade" or the like, not "bile bear". The first image is an asset of an NGO known for being sensitive about image use and is not appropriate for creative commons. Sentence one refers to the nickname "battery bears", whereas the correct nickname is "moon bears", so called for the half moon crescent shape on the breast. Under housing and husbandry is a reference to an organization probably intended to be the IUCN, but "HSUS" is no organization that exists in our databases and lacks reference. The reference to ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) discusses animal material, and what is used is plant based. there is a page on the website i will direct you to. Otherwise, just an update of the Korean legal status, which changed in 2012, would be suffficent and more than generous of you. Pls see www.bearnecessitykorea.com and the others are not English, but state less information. https://www.worldanimalprotection.org/sites/default/files/int_files/bear_bile_white_paper.pdf or WSPa is an excellent and respected NGO asnd source./ I hope this helps and again, am touched you'd try to find time, but the offer is lovely alone. I hope this helps :) Megamediamissus (talk) 01:39, 27 April 2018 (UTC)megamedia missus
