Hi Ollie
The table I placed on the Data distribution service page was as neutral as possible, and NO different from the list of List of content management systems available elsewhere on Wikipedia. You will have to provide a stronger counter-reference to convince me that this is against Wikipedia guidelines. In the meantime, I have reinstated the table. I'll accept that the external links represent potential bias, but being thorough reduces that bias, and creates a better reference tool. Merwish (talk) 18:05, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

No, they are quite different. One is a dedicated navigational list, one is being inserted into a prose article. One list has only entries that link to an established Wikipedia article, one has no evidence of notability whatsoever. I also notice that only one of them contains your employer's implementation. - MrOllie (talk) 18:36, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Hmm. Let's pull these apart.

1) I can't have a table in an article? From List of content management frameworks the 60seconds CMS has no article, but it's in the list. I could create (stubs?) for each of the implementations if that would help create a navigational list, but I don't think that's very helpful.

2) I'm struggling to reconcile notability with neutrality, based on the Wikipedia definitions. I doubt there's a "winner" here. At the very least, I'm providing validity to the existence of DDS by showing commercial and open source support of a worthwhile (notable) standard.

3) Yes, one of the references is to my current employer's implementation. I have tried to provide a thorough and even representation of all discoverable and available implementations. Isn't this the point of NPOV? Merwish (talk) 18:54, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
