Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:The Property (Malibu artists colony), a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:33, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mifflintown. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Property".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13. An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 22:44, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not for advertising or self-promotion

Information icon Hello, I'm Worldbruce. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page The Property (artists colony), because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Worldbruce (talk) 15:15, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Do not add links to commercial book sites, such as Amazon, especially when you wrote the book involved. See the guideline on external links, which advises "instead of linking to a commercial book site, consider the 'ISBN' linking format, which gives readers an opportunity to search a wide variety of free and non-free book sources." --Worldbruce (talk) 15:10, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest editing

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mifflintown. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Mitchell Block, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:01, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mifflintown. The types of edits you're making to Mitchell Block are giving the impression, at least giving me the impression, that you might be somehow connected to Block in some way. If, by chance, you are, then please take a look at WP:PSCOI and familiarize yourself with the kinds of things the Wikipedia community expects from COI editors. If you are not, then the changes you are making to the article still are not being supported by citations to independent reliable sources. All articles written about living individuals is subject to WP:BLP and sourcing needs to be in accordance with WP:BLPSOURCES. Primary sources may be used, but they need to be used with care as explained in WP:BLPPRIMARY. The same applies to self-published sources as explained in WP:BLPSPS and WP:BLPSELFPUB. Furthermore, I suggest you discuss the changes you wish to make to the article per WP:BRD and see if there's a consensus for making them. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:09, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
