advice/ reversions
[edit]Regarding my recent article on "M Seager Thomas". At the moment I'm finding this system pretty clunky, but I'm new here and no doubt I'll get used to it. I'm happy to receive input from others, advice for improvement, etc., which doubtless I can use, but if edits made on the advice of one editor are undone by another, taking with them hours of subsequent improvement work, what's the point in making them? Cheers Mike

[edit]revisions
[edit]I take out the internal links as instructed. Another editor puts them back in, at the same time chucking out hours of other work, now I'm told to take them out again. I will do this; then I will give up. Thanks Mike
- Yes I see that happened here [1] perhaps User:Asartea could explain their thinking? Theroadislong (talk) 17:07, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Theroadislong: Oh oopsie that was not meant to happen to that page (hotkeys will kill me one day). @Mike Donne: have you put it back already or shall I do it? Also, my excuses for the accidental revert. Asartea Talk | Contribs 17:34, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
Done
[edit]I've taken out the external links, restored the unreverted bibliography, adding a few entries I previously deleted. The text is that to which Asartea reverted with a few tweaks. I could put more of the bibliographic references back, which I assume is what Asartea had in mind, but a lot of them seem rather minor, and I don't want to waste my time reformating them if the article's going to end up in the bin or they're going to get edited out again. Thanks, Mike
