September 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to IPhone OS version history, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to IPhone OS version history. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Atamachat 20:52, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Using IPs is not helping your cause:

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may place {{unblock}} on your user talk page to have the block reviewed. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:49, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Further explanation of block:

Your main target throughout your edits is to add a blogspot. First in external links (unsuitable per the external links guideline), later hard pushing as a 'reference'. You do not discuss (except for a 'warning' to an IP who reverted .. diff .. well, hardly a warning ..), you just revert and keep doing that. Blogspots are generally not suitable as a reference, they generally fail our reliable sources guideline (no editorial oversight). Moreover, it seems you have a conflict of interest, which strongly discourages additions of such links yourself. I hopet this explains. --Dirk Beetstra T C 16:07, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I think adding a reference will be helpfull, however now and after reviewing the policy I will contribute (as before) according the wikipedia policy; so please remove me from your bloked list

Decline reason:

Yes, adding references can be useful, but the block addresses the type of references you continuously add. Please read the reliable sources guideline, and the conflict of interest guideline (and maybe some other policies and guidelines as well. If you think that you can contribute following those, then please request another unblock (using {{unblock}}; and please post that at the bottom of this page. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:27, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

according to your Request I read the reliable sources guideline carefully so I can promise to contribute with wikipedia policy's

Decline reason:

Since you haven't made any contributions except spamming I'm declining this. I'd like to see some evidence of what you will contribute first. — Spartaz Humbug! 05:58, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More specifically, if you are unblocked, you understand that adding any more links to your blog will result in an immediate reblock? It's not uncommon for users to say "I read the policies, and I still think my link is appropriate." If you agree to not attempt to add that link or similar links, your unblock will be considered. According to your request i will not add link to my blog any more in wikipedia.Mojtaba Cazi (talk) 05:59, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please also explain what areas you intent to positively contribute to the project? Spartaz Humbug! 06:47, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock }}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

As blocking admin I am going to grant this unblock, assuming good faith on your behalf. Please, for next edits, do not include your blog without previous discussion (with response and consensus) with other users (e.g. with an appropriate wikiproject, see Wikipedia:WikiProject, or with regulars on pages you are interested in), and when your edits get reverted, do not re-revert, but discuss your edits with that editor first. Happy editing.
