Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Monserrat Enriquez. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page User:Monserrat Enriquez/sandbox, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:13, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

help requests

[edit]
To whomever may concern,
Thank you for the quick reply.
I was not trying to publish the article in question, but simply edit it to make it more neutral and save the draft. The published article was still in progress, as all information regarding the company's history was being collected. Is it possible for me to recover the text I have written, at least? The page was deleted in less than two minutes after the warning, therefore I did not have time to save it.
Furthermore, there is no way of getting my article back without reverting the edits made by the employees of wikipedia. I did spend a considerable amount of time in it.
Thank you,

Alternatively,
Is it possible to revert the publishing of the article, so I may keep on working and editing it, until I am finally done with it?
Thank you Monserrat Enriquez (talk) 20:24, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's actual employees do not edit except in extraordinary circumstances; all edits are otherwise done by volunteers. Also, there is no way to have a "private" page on Wikipedia; as long as someone knows or can find the title it's under they can see/edit it. All drafting does is hide it from reputable search engines (read: search engines that respect robots.txt). —Jéské Couriano v^_^v threads critiques 21:11, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You may ask the deleting administrator for a userspace copy or email copy of your deleted sandbox. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:19, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please realize that if you are writing about your employer and/or client(s), it automatically makes you a paid editor according to Wikipedia's paid editing disclosure policy. You are required to disclose which articles are about your employer/client, and who is paying you. Note that this policy applies even if you are not being paid specifically to edit Wikipedia; your employment by itself makes these disclosures mandatory.

If you are being directed by your superiors to write about your employer or clients, then you both need to read the essay entitled "When your boss tells you to edit Wikipedia". The interests of an employer are often in opposition to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Another relevant essay is the one about why we don't allow people to use Wikipedia for public relations and marketing.

Regardless, the conflict of interest guide is something you should also review before creating or editing articles where you have a personal or professional connection. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:27, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
