I admit, the Wikipedia photograph permissions and copyright rules mystify me. But this time I had the copyright holder PRECISELY respond with the letter on Wikipedia:Permissions, cut-and-pasted from there, and they cc'd me a copy so I could make sure they did exactly that. I have that copy in front of me and as far as I can see it is word-for-word what is on the permissions page. But your post on the image says, "the message was not sufficient to confirm permission for this page/file." Exactly where did the letter fall short? I would like to know so this can be immediately rectified. Thank you. --Jonnybgoode44 (talk) 06:52, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

There is a long backlog in the permissions queue so i may not have seen all of the emails that were sent. The email that I received was not sent directly from the email address listed on the contact page on the site. So I sent an email to that email address asking them to confirm the permission. They responded back so the necessary modifications have been made to the page. MorganKevinJ(talk) 13:23, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. --Jonnybgoode44 (talk) 06:40, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

File mover

I have granted file mover rights to your account following either a request for those rights or a clear need for the ability to move files. For information on the file mover rights and under what circumstances it is okay to move files, see Wikipedia:File mover. If you do not want file mover rights anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. —Tom Morris (talk) 12:26, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Re: Red fox source

Hey, I think you'll find the source information is there under the point "Contributor". See also File:Vulpes_vulpes_with_prey.jpg. --Fir0002 03:46, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Giving the source in that format does not make all the details clear. Is WO3535-25 the actual name of the publication or is it some volume number? Is it a book or a journal? If it is a book or a journal, what page is the image on? Does Robin West work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or is he a contractor? MorganKevinJ(talk) 19:55, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Possible copyright issue with article on Roger Casement and the Black Diaries.

Please see my comment at the Talk page for this article. Thanks. Nandt1 (talk) 18:23, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
