Information icon Hello, I'm Flyer22 Frozen. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Alan D. Schnitzer—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. My fault, should have reread that better before posting. Mrizzo95 (talk) 00:03, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like you reverted all the edits I made with citationa. Alan's family connections to the company is important and is a large portion of how he became CEO. Please place my edit back. Mrizzo95 (talk) 00:12, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed you have been making unhelpful edits to the Alan Schnitzer Wikipedia article. @Flyer22 Frozen: has already warned you above to ask for help and learn more about Wikipedia editing before you make such edits. I would also like to point out that Wikipedia has a strict policy about “conflict of interest” editing. You stated in the edit summary that “I am a personal friend of Alan and know this is a hot topic at travelers.” Personal involvement of any kind with the subject of an article, especially a biography of a living person, is completely forbidden. Please see here for a full explanation of the rule and how it works: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#External_roles_and_relationships

Please refrain from further editing the Alan Schnitzer article.69.71.14.255 (talk) 09:39, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reaching out to me. I do not believe I violate wiki's COI as I do not have a close enough relationship with him but I have spoken to him in the past and have seen his career progression. I have done an in depth research of his family ties over the past few months (Covid Board-om). I rearranged the career section to chronological order since this makes the career path easier to follow. If you have suggestions on the flow of this article I would appreciate help or suggestions but the information there should stay as it is correct and is a large portion of his history. I would be happy to walk you through any sources you find questionable. I can verify all the information I have added.Mrizzo95 (talk) 12:52, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
