The Fray[edit]

Hello and thanks for your message. Wikipedia's brilliance and curse is that any user can edit; thus, you get all kinds of contributions. 67.128.2.9 (talk · contribs), the IP address, is registered to a school and therefore may in fact represent many users at many physical computers, hence if a block is needed, administrators always consider a softer block. The user in question continued vandalising after a final warning was given and has now been blocked accordingly. So thank you for pointing it out and happy editing!-- Chris.Btalk 19:37, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Days of our Lives characters[edit]

None of the edits you've made to Days characters have been within consensus and/or guidelines and have been reverted. No, you do not HAVE to change Lucas' name. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball see WP:CRYSTAL and Lucas is still credited as Roberts. Do not make the change again. Doing so after a warning will be considered vandalism. Also your edits to the John Black (fiction) article are against MOS. As he is still mentioned, he is still a character. "Was" is not appropriate. Thank you. Wikipedia is about learning. The message above was about directing you as to how things must work. Verifiability is a key issue on Wikipedia. Too often people come in and make edits because of their "feelings" and this is a problem. When we correct an issue, we often explain why so you don't make the error again. Once is a good faith edit but twice, after a warning, is vandalism. Some understand that quickly. Others do not. We are all here to improve the encyclopedia. Warnings are so you can improve you editing, not get frustrated and walk away. Thank you for understanding CelticGreen 23:49, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

April 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Phil Theis, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Todd McShay. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 14:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Mel Kiper, Jr., you will be blocked from editing.
Your edits have been automatically marked as vandalism and have been automatically reverted. The following is the log entry regarding this vandalism: Mel Kiper, Jr. was changed by Mrm087 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2010-04-29T14:19:03+00:00 . Thank you. Request reason:

I am a good person and promise not to harass Todd McGay or Mel "Jimmy Clausen" Kiper Jr. anymore.

Decline reason:

If you'd like to keep it up, we can extend the block. Syrthiss (talk) 14:55, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for Continued disruptive editing. Enough of your nonsense. You're just yanking our collective chain, and being disruptive. If we ever had any patience for your edits, I think you've comprehensively shown that any assumption of redemption on our behalf is a waste of time, and, although you've asked to be blocked, I have no hesitation whatsoever in making you happy in that respect, and Wikipedia a better place in the process.. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. When will my block be lifted? I'd like to learn how to be a constructive member of Wikipedia. I will serve any sentence that is deemed appropriate, but I would also like to be mentored in how to become a good-standing member. Thanks!
