February 2009[edit]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Phi Kappa Theta South Dakota Alpha Chapter has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): tinypic\.com (links: http://i44.tinypic.com/efi8u0.jpg). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:18, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Phi Kappa Theta South Dakota Alpha Chapter[edit]
It's with a little bit of pain, because it was a Phi Kap article, that I just deleted Phi Kappa Theta South Dakota Alpha Chapter. The problem is that individual chapters of a fraternity are not generally notable organizations; there is nothing about SD Alpha that makes it particularly notable. As a result, it fell under criterion A7 of the speedy deletion guidelines.
Also, note that individual chapters do not have links at fraternity articles, so I have deleted the link from Phi Kappa Theta. (To compound matters, the link is broken anyway.) —C.Fred (talk) 04:02, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Phikapfoundingfathers.jpg[edit]
Thank you for uploading File:Phikapfoundingfathers.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —C.Fred (talk) 04:04, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
