Your submission at AfC Taxware, LLC (September 11)[edit]

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit if you feel they have been resolved.

The article Taxware has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of demonstration of notability: Anything related to this topic that is encyclopedic should be in Vista Equity Partners. If an article on this company is to be written, it will have to be re-written from scratch using reliable, secondary sources to demonstrate the company's notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:33, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am also proposing that Vista Equity Partners be deleted because as the article is written now, any claim of notability is not sufficiently supported by reliable sources. If the parent organization is not notable enough to warrant its own stand-alone article, it is unlikely, but not impossible, that Taxware would meet Wikipedia's criteria for a stand-alone article. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:36, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability is not clear, not sufficiently improved since "db-spam" speedy-deletion was declined.

Writing more articles[edit]

In an edit summary to this edit of Taxware, you wrote "Will write more articles on others in the industry. Industry is growing in relevance, in part, because of Marketplace Fairness Act."

Please become more familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, particularly those related to content, and in particular notability before writing a new article. A good way to do this is to read the policies and guidelines then make small improvements to articles on subjects that you don't care about either personally or professionally. After you've done that for a bit, start monitoring the deletion discussions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, particularly those articles that are nominated for lack of notability. Watch what others have to say and learn what subjects are and are not notable and how to demonstrate notability for those subjects that are notable. The vast majority of companies are not notable enough to qualify for a Wikipedia article. You may also want to read Wikipedia:Your first article before creating an article and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest closely before editing in any area in which you may have a conflict of interest.

As a general rule, if you are creating an article to promote something that is not already well-known, it is best to not create that article. Wait for the subject to become well-known first. Although not prohibited outright, it is good practice to not create or make substantial edits to articles in which you have a real or apparent conflict of interest, including articles about companies that you work for or work with or in some cases other companies in your employer's or employer's clients' industry or industries. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:40, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep using Articles for creation[edit]

Even though you are able to create articles now, it is a good idea for inexperienced editors to continue to use the Articles for creation process. This usually results in a higher-quality article that is more resistant to deletion, while at the same time it keeps "not ready for prime time" and "non-notable subject" articles out of the main encyclopedia.

A way to draft articles is to create them as a userspace draft then move them to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/your proposed title goes here then add {{subst:SUBMIT}} to the top and save the page. Monitor the AFC pending submissions queue and when your article gets to the front of the line, expect it to be reviewed shortly. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:45, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Taxware, LLC, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:07, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mudgett33. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Taxware, LLC".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Taxware, LLC}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 00:00, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
