Reliable Sources - (Not including Facebook etc)

[edit]

Articles should be based on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. This means that we publish the opinions only of reliable authors, and not the opinions of Wikipedians who have read and interpreted primary source material for themselves.

Anyone can create a personal web page or publish their own book and claim to be an expert in a certain field. For that reason, self-published media are largely not acceptable. Self-published books and newsletters, personal pages on social networking sites, tweets, and posts on Internet forums are all examples of self-published media.

For a fuller explanation of sources to cite please read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Thank you Xyzspaniel (talk) 23:26, 23 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Retd. Judge AlHajj Jalal Uddin Chowdhury has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Originally proposed BLP un referenced, template deleted by author, propose again on notability and BLP as he has added 2 links (1. Bar Council - not in that link 2. To the subjects Facebook Page!)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
