Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Jaranwala. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Jaranwala has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://jaranwala2010.blogspot.com/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Jaranwala do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Note

[edit]

You seem to be replacing Wikipedia's existing article on Jaranwala, which is written in clear, simple English, with a new version, which is written in English with many errors, and also not in a neutral tone. Most of the verifiable information in the new, poorly-written version is also in the older, more correct version- the information that isn't in the older version is, for the most part, information that isn't needed in an encyclopedia article. Is there a way you could simply add missing facts to the existing article, rather than replacing it with one whose style reflects so badly on the encyclopedia? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:57, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Jaranwala. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Meezu". The reason given for Meezu's block is: "Block evasion: User:Newcastleunitedfan".

Decline reason: Even if your edit pattern didn't look suspiciously like the other two blocked accounts, there aren't enough edits and too many warning notes above for me to feel comfortable unblocking. — Daniel Case (talk) 16:10, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unencyclopedic, promotional material

[edit]

User:Ndhaq-[1][2] [3] [4] Why have you added these unencyclopedic, promotional material to the Jaranwala article? I see that some other I.P.s have also been adding similar material to that article. I have left a note on the talk page of the article. Please see it and don't add similar material again.-Civilizededucationtalk 18:20, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have left a complaint about your edits at the administrators notice board WP:ANI.-Civilizededucationtalk 18:43, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!
