zunda towers

hello, Olgerts V! i noticed that some of your pictures of the zunda towers have been nominated for deletion on commons by A1Cafel because latvia does not freely permit the commercial use of images of works of architecture protected by copyright. however, after some digging, i learned that en wikipedia "[b]asically ... accept[s] images of buildings and structures taken anywhere in the world", according to wp:fop. i am assuming that this means that there are no issues with hosting these images on en wikipedia. do you agree? if so, would you mind copying these files over to en wikipedia? i cannot seem to figure out how to do it (or even figure out if it is possible to do so), and am guessing that you are far more familiar with commons than i am. i had also asked A1Cafel for help, but then realized that A1Cafel is blocked here on en wikipedia, so may not be able to copy any files over. dying (talk) 11:13, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

• @Dying: Hello! Only 4 photos of Zunda Towers are made by me, and unfortunately none of them is used in article Zunda Towers. I don't know the simple way to reload images directly from Commons to English Wiki. So I was trying to upload one of my files to en.wiki as a new file, see File:Daugavgrīvas iela (5).jpg, but it was immediately marked as a copy of Commons image, that potentially can cause a problem. I guess it is necessary to wait until these files will be deleted from Commons and later upload again to en.wiki. — Olgerts V (talk) 12:29, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
