Live updates

[edit]

Please do not update match stats (whether a player’s or a club’s or a league table etc.) until the player’s involvement in the match has finished / the match itself has finished. That means (especially, for example, if another goal is scored) that errors can be minimised. Many thanks. GiantSnowman 21:04, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh thank you for letting me know Olimpia de Minas (talk) 21:06, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
For the second time - please do NOT live update stats. GiantSnowman 13:55, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright I forgot about this Olimpia de Minas (talk) 14:48, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Friendly tournaments

[edit]

Hi Olimpia de Minas, please do not add friendly tournaments to the players' achievements. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 04:01, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But aren't they still tournaments? Olimpia de Minas (talk) 04:04, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Friendlies are not official tournaments and do not count towards player achievements. Annh07 (talk) 04:10, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But they still get something in the end of the tournament don't they? Olimpia de Minas (talk) 04:12, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No matter what they get, it doesn't mean anything in terms of achievement. Annh07 (talk) 04:17, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why not? yeah it's a friendly but they should still somewhat care about what they acheive right? Olimpia de Minas (talk) 04:18, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Professional footballers have to treat every game as competitive, friendly competitions are not really competitive and winners should only be mentioned in the article on that tournament (if we have one). Annh07 (talk) 04:39, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Pascal Feindouno, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 10:43, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

He was literally apart of an AFCON Team of the Tournament go on the AFCON 2006 and scroll down until you see Team of the Tournament Olimpia de Minas (talk) 16:08, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not doubting the accuracy of your additions. The point is that references need to be included when adding or changing content. Robby.is.on (talk) 19:26, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Vitaliy Mykolenko, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 01:13, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

how long am I blocked for editing? Olimpia de Minas (talk) 22:42, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The notice above says "indefinitely". Robby.is.on (talk) 22:57, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So you don't have an exact time for how long I'm blocked, I was never even violating pages Olimpia de Minas (talk) 18:24, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's correct. The notice also states you were blocked "as a sockpuppet". If the "Olimpia de Minas" account is not a sockpuppet of a previous account, you should appeal the block. Robby.is.on (talk) 18:29, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
