Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park[edit]

In your recent edit, you mentioned that it was untrue that Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici translates into "The winding streams and lakes of St. Maurice". Could you be more specific? I've seen some sources that say the literal translation is 'twisted waters' but a translation that makes more sense to English readers is winding streams. So it may not be a word for word translation, but instead of removing the translation completely, could you perhaps offer a more accurate translation? Would you accept 'twisted waters' instead? It seems silly to remove it completely as it helps the reader to understand the topography and why the park was named this way. Ðiliff «» (Talk) 09:56, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Oriol. I agree with Diliff here: the literal translation may be "twisted waters", but it makes much more sense in English if we translate it as "The winding streams and lakes". It's not like the meaning changes a lot either... Leptictidium (mt) 12:48, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
