Do you have any pictures that you took, and can therefore freely license and upload to illustrate the article? We'd love to have them. The image on Flickr is good, but is noted as "all rights reserved." Acroterion

I Changed the rights on three photos I would like to add somwhere

See WP:IMAGE for advice and policies on images. In general, freely licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, which serves as the common repository for media associated with Wikipedia projects of all languages. It's here [1]. You might need to create an account before uploading if you're not automatically logged in, and you'll see an "Upload image" medu on the left toolbox which will take you to the upload screen. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (Lee's Summit, Missouri) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://stpaulsleessummit.blogspot.com/, http://stpaulsleessummit.blogspot.com/ (redirect from http://stpaulsleessummit.blogspot.com/)). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:16, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (Lee's Summit, Missouri) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bflickr\.com/(?:photos|groups|search)\b (links: http://www.flickr.com/photos/carlylehold/2511244815, http://www.flickr.com/photos/carlylehold/2511244815 (redirect from http://www.flickr.com/photos/carlylehold/2511244815)). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. 1. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (Lee's Summit, Missouri). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.

Please keep in mind that photographs must be uploaded to Wikipedia (or better yet, Wikimedia Commons) to appear. Links back to Flickr don't work, and the photo you've linked to isn't free content, so that can't be uploaded. Acroterion (talk) 01:04, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's a lot to learn, isn't there? Acroterion (talk) 22:30, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see you've posted the ref for the NRHP inventory, and that much of the text is a direct copy. While the NRHP forms are generally regarded as public domain documents, it's considered bad form to directly quote them.. I suggest a rewrite in your own words, using the NRHP form as a properly-attributed source. I'll format the ref for you. Acroterion (talk) 13:46, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
